Macbeth Reflection

What do you know about the character of Macbeth (his personality and aims) that would help you to know how to use your body language as an actor to portray him? Give an example. I know that Macbeth was a brave man who is pressured into killing his friend, who is King Duncan. You can portray that you are mad whenever Lady Macbeth mentions killing King Duncan to show that Macbeth doesn't want to do it, and that he genuinely likes the King. He was also scared when he met the witches, so you can act fragile and shy or scared to show this. What do you know about the characters of the witches that would help you to know how to use your voice as an actor to portray them? Give an example. The characters of the witches are eerie and make people feel scared or uneasy. They are also quiet and mysterious. For this you can whisper and take long breaks in between what you say to show mysteriousness.  Can you describe one specific performance skill (acting skill) that you have improv

Photo 1: In this photo, Tarash is acting as the assassin or killer, and Ayaan is Banquo. This scene is supposed to show that Banquo got killed by a killer, and that no one really saw what happened. Ayaan put his arms out and put a surprised face to show he got caught off guard, and that he was scared and begging for help, and Tarash made a face to show that he was happy to kill. For question C, there was no speech in this scene, so I cannot answer. Photo 2: In this photo, Sami is playing as Macbeth, Natalya is playing as Lady Macbeth, I am playing as someone who is also at this party/ feast, and Ayaan played as the ghost of Banquo. This scene shows Macbeth being haunted by Banquo's ghost, and Lady Macbeth and another person at the party are worried for Macbeth, because they don't see the ghost. Sami looks scared because of his shocked and worried expression. Natalya looks nervous and uneasy because of Macbeth, shown by her serious expression, Ayaan loo

Members in the video: Gregory, Ayaan, Zain Video:  https://youtu.be/nR3t8X2HCs4  The techniques we used for the eerie atmosphere were to be quiet and whisper the lines to build tension. We also used cloth to cover our faces to present a mysterious feel to it as well. lastly, we put a block with cloth on it to show a cauldron, which means we were making potions, and this makes people wonder what we are making.

Superstition Research

Superstition Research A superstition is any belief that if you do something, which could be and action or speech, is going to signify good or bad luck. There is one where if a birds poops on you, its good luck. Another two are breaking a mirror is bad luck and Friday the 13th is bad luck. Back then, in Scotland and England, people believed that witches were real and that they were working with the devil. If someone got accused of being a witch, they would do horrendous tests and mostly end up killing them. The three witches roles in Macbeth are huge, because it's the main reason why Macbeth kills King Duncan, which starts the whole story and its events. In my opinion, I think the witches don't control Macbeth's future, they only read it. They can only tell what is to come.
